04.16.10 / AOF - Fan Fare Appearance Cancelled
hey guys,
we are sorry to announce that the Alexisonfire portion of Fan Fare at the Junos is being cancelled. Other bands will still be there, but unfortunately we will not. We are grounded in Halifax.
We did not make it to St. John's today as expected, due to weather problems - why is there snow in NFLD in April!!!
Our flight from Halifax basically took a u-turn before landing in St. John's and a couple hours later, we ended up exactly where they started - back in Halifax for the night.
We won't get to St. John's on time for Fan Fare, but will make it on time for our concert...so ticket holders don't stress. Everything is going as planned at the Delta Ballroom - for now. The only thing stopping us is the fog - right now, we're booked on a new flight and will arrive on time. we'll keep you posted if we're grounded again....but we have faith we'll get there. we have to!
Guess that's the fun part about Canada - very unpredictable weather.

A select group of 2010 JUNO Award nominees will take to the stage in an afternoon concert. Dallas will be hosting the event and performing alongside Lights, Bahamas Jarvis Church and others.
As part of Songwriters' Circle, Dallas and the other artists share songs and stories about the inspirations behind their lyrics.

04.14.10 / AOF at JUNOS FAN FARE (get wristbands today!)
Alexisonfire is taking part in this year's Juno Fan Fare on Saturday April 17. They will be at TABLE #3 from 12:30-1:30pm.
You need a wristband to get into the event. they will be distributed at 4pm at the Village Shopping Centre - TODAY. You will be asked to line up in 1 of 6 lines. AOF has its own line. There are a limited number of wristbands per band, so once the AOF line is full, they will not give out more wristbands. Get there early today to line up.

A select group of 2010 JUNO Award nominees will take to the stage in an afternoon concert. Dallas will be hosting the event and performing alongside Lights, Bahamas Jarvis Church and others.

We're going to be taking over Calgary’s rock station, X92.9 on March 17th (St. Patty’s Day!) at 2pm.
We’ll be taking over DJ duties and playing some of our favourite songs, as well as performing a special LIVE set.
The Takeover is being held at Republik (219 17 Ave SW, Calgary, AB). the only way to get in the doors, is to win tickets. The station gave us 10 pairs to give away.
